Gayatri Singh, DNP, DBH, LCSW, CCM, LCAC, LMFT, APRN, PMHNP-BC
(Doctoral Psychotherapist & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner)

Dr. Singh has been a practicing psychotherapist since graduating from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a Master of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Social Work. Dr. Singh received her license to practice psychiatric social work from the Kentucky Board of Social Work, has a nationally recognized Certification in Case Management via CCMC, is a licensed supervisory level addictions expert (CADAC-IV) via the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium and a licensed marriage and family therapist via the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She has a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University specializing in integrated medical and behavioral health services, subsequently also completed her Post-Doctorate Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2018.
Dr. Singh has worked extensively with a myriad of patient populations, in a variety of clinical settings while utilizing empirically based treatment modalities. Integrity and compassion are at the core of her holistic practice. Her specialties include treatment of adolescents and adults with mood disorders, substance-related disorders, interpersonal relationship problems, women’s issues, trauma, severe mental illnesses, sleep disorders, gender identity, sexual orientation issues, acculturation/adjustment difficulties, phase of life issues, end of life issues, and bereavement counseling.
The treatments that Dr. Singh provides are geared toward alleviating suffering from distressing psychological symptoms, helping people change characteristic and self-defeating behaviors, assisting in adjusting to life circumstances, as well as in-depth exploration of underlying psychological processes. Dr. Singh has experience treating comorbid behavioral and medical conditions. She has developed various patient-driven treatment protocols to help individuals address debilitating comorbid medical concerns.
Dr. Singh has experience supervising and ensuring the quality of clinical services. Her leadership and oversight have improved population health management outcomes, professional development, and system performance outcomes in various clinical settings. She strongly believes in lifelong learning and continued development of her clinical skills to provide advanced care initiatives to her patients. She graduated from her Master’s Entry in Professional Nursing program from the University of Louisville in 2020, Post Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Northern Kentucky University in 2021, is board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to have prescription privileges, and has subsequently completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Duke University to offer wraparound behavioral and integrated care to her patients in Kentucky and Indiana.

Carol Hammerbeck, MD
(Psychiatrist)

Dr. Hammerbeck has been a practicing psychiatrist since 1992, when she completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, specializing in psychiatry and medical genetics. Dr. Hammerbeck received her license to practice psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1994 and is dually credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure and Medical Licensing Board of Indiana.
Dr. Hammerbeck has worked extensively with a myriad of patient populations, in a variety of clinical settings while utilizing empirically based treatment modalities. Nurturance and compassion are at the core of her collaborative multidisciplinary practice style. Her specialties include the evaluation and pharmacologic treatment of adults with treatment-refractory mood disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), substance-related disorders (office-based medication-assisted treatment of opioid use disorder), psychiatric conditions in patients with significant medical problems, interpersonal relationship problems, women’s issues, trauma, severe mental illnesses, sleep disorders, phase of life issues, and she enjoys precepting/mentoring/teaching the next generation of clinicians passionate about learning the nuances of her field.
Dr. Hammerbeck has served as locum tenens (attending psychiatrist) offering treatment protocols via telehealth and in-person to assist patients in addressing debilitating psychopharmacological concerns nationwide.
